Pete Beach Award

Pete Beach was a former Executive Director of OFSAA whose life was dedicated to sport and helping others , especially young people, achieve their full potential. Under his leadership, OFSAA expanded from seven Associations to fifteen and from three hundred schools to five hundred and eighty.

These winners exemplify the same dedication, spirit and love of sport that made Pete Beach such a success in both his professional and private life.

(DYSAA was formed in 1987 combining York Region, formerly a part of GBSSA, and Durham Region, formerly a part of COSSA. The Association was disbanded in 1995 when, due to the growth in both areas, two separate Associations were formed, LOSSA, Durham Region schools, and YRAA, York Region schools.)

(CISAA was admitted in 2004, combining selected independent schools throughout the province)
