Nominate your community for TSN Kraft Celebration Tour

May 23, 2014 | Uncategorized

Calling all communities across Ontario!

This could be your chance to improve your athletic facilities. Whether it be a revamping of your school gym, soccer field or local rink OFSAA knows there are schools and sports teams in need.

The Kraft Celebration Tour on TSN is providing schools and communities with a better place to play. If you think your school is worthy of the upgrade, send in a nomination and best of luck!

Here’s a few details from TSN;

WHAT: The Kraft Celebration Tour

WHY: Because you could be among the Top 10 Canadian communities selected this year to receive $25,000 for a community project that builds a better place to play and inspires Canadians to become more active.  TSN will also shine the national spotlight on your community with a live broadcast of SPORTSCENTRE right in your hometown.  The Kraft Celebration Tour runs August 15-24 with stops in each of the 10 winning communities.

But wait…there’s more!

New this year, one of the Top 10 Canadian communities will receive a $100,000 total grand prize for their community project – with the winner decided by Canadians through two days of voting.

HOW: You can nominate your community in just a few easy steps –

1)    Visit KraftCelebrationTour.ca

2)    Complete the online nomination form.  Remember: this is your chance to let us know what sets your community apart, and why it deserves a spot on the Kraft Celebration Tour

3)    Hit the submit button and you’re done!

NOMINATIONS CLOSE JUNE 6: Submit your nomination today as the nomination period closes on Friday, June 6, 2014.

SOCIAL MEDIA: Since we’re all on Facebook and Twitter, visit and like the Kraft Celebration Tour Facebook Page (www.Facebook.com/KraftCelebrationTour) and follow @KCTAndy, the official Kraft Celebration Tour account.  Use the official hashtag “#KCT” so that we see your tweets and follow all of TSN’s on-air personalities, including Darren Dutchyshen, Jennifer Hedger, and Kate Beirness.

We hope you can help your schools get active and excited about living a healthy lifestyle with some fresh facilities!
