Coaching Certification Courses Available
Club Coach is a stand alone 2 day course that designed to give trainers (usually volunteer) skills to coach recreationally at the club level. Although endorsed by NCCP – This course does not lead to any certification. Info about Club Coach – https://curlinginontario.ca/
Competition Coach is a 2 day course that is the first step on the path to coaching certification – taking the 2 day course will give a coach the status of “in training” – which would be suitable for the OFSAA Competitions. Coaches with teams that may want to play in provincial competitions could then continue on with this training and complete the Making Ethical Decisions workshop and Safe Sport to become Competition Coach “trained”.
