Paranordic and Special Olympic athletes can choose to complete one of four race distances:
A) 1.5km gentle loop with a classic track set on the right side starting at 9:00 am;
B) 3km (two laps of the 1.5km) gentle with a classic track set on the right side starting at 9:00 am,
C) 5km (two laps of 2.5km) without a classic track following the Junior course starting at 10:00 am, or
D) 7km (two laps of 3.5km) without a classic track following the senior course starting at 12:00 noon.
The 1.5 km para course is mostly flat with a couple of gentle climbs and descents and features a classic track set on the right hand side of the course. The Junior and Senior courses will not have a classic track and features longer and steeper climbs and descents.
Coaches of para athletes must register their para athletes on Zone4.ca where they will indicate the paranordic category or classification for each paranordic skier.
Coaches of para athletes must also complete the 2025 Ofsaa Nordic paranordic and special olympic google form (link) where they will indicate the desired race distance.
