OFSAA Girls’ Field Hockey and Cross Country

TORONTO (October 30, 2012) – This week marks the OFSAA championship dates for girls’ field hockey (Nov. 1-3) and Cross Country (Nov. 3). The girls’ field hockey will take place in Nepean, Ontario while Cross Country is in Brampton, Ontario for 2012. 

The girls’ field hockey championship will kick things off Thursday with round robin play leading into playoff and championship games concluding on Saturday. This years event is being hosted by NCSSAA in Nepean with games being played at Mother Teresa Catholic High School, St. Joseph Catholic High School, Longfields Davidson High School and John McCrae Secondary School. The Cross Country Championship is set for Saturday at the Heart Lake Conservation Area in Brampton. The first race of the day will take place at 9:30am with the race day concluding at 3pm for the annual awards banquet.
